Invest in Adult Education
An investment in education is an investment in our future. Our children are our future. When they succeed, the country succeeds. Students from families with the lowest income are more likely to drop out than students from middle and higher income families. To break the chain of intergenerational poverty, we must fund adult education with as much importance as we fund primary and secondary education.
There are many services for children with disabilities, but few for adults with disabilities after the age of 22. Increased funding for services for adults with disabilities will improve the standard of living for this vulnerable community.
